Video tour of James W. Washington Jr.'s residence

This is a video tour through artist James W. Washington Jr.'s residence and studio in Seattle. Washington's work - which ranged from stone sculptures of animals to famous figures like Martin Luther King Jr. - will be on display at the opening exhibit of the Northwest African American Museum. His house is now a national landmark and historic site open to the public, but parts of the studio (that are featured in the video) are still being excavated and restored. The prolific artist passed away in 2000 but he left his house as if he just walked away - pieces of stone, sculptures and even his hat are left hanging.
