Citizenship: Latinos less likely to naturalize

More than 500 area residents from 73 countries became U.S. citizens on Independence Day 2004 when they took an oath read by 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Robert Beezer. The naturalization ceremony took place at Seattle Center.
