MRSA's toll climbs, but hospital is slow to change

Norman Hurst, of Aurora, Ore., suffered devastating burns in a traffic accident in Texas in 1980. When he was moved to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle to be closer to home, a culture test found he had MRSA. The outbreak that followed would take 15 months to stamp out.
