Darigold co-op keeps small Northwest dairies churning

Compound butters are simple mixes of quality butter and favorite seasonings such as fresh herbs, dried fruits, nuts or mushrooms. Among the ideas featured in Darigold's Fresh magazine are, clockwise from top left: Lemon/dill, cured black olives, turmeric/cilantro, morel mushrooms, peppadew peppers, blue cheese and cheddar/chive.
