Photographing birds and wildlife in the far reaches of Washington

Photographer David Gluckman wears camouflage gear and uses this hefty 600 mm Nikon lens and a tripod when photographing birds. Because it's hard to get close to wildlife, a zoom or telephoto lens is a must. Gluckman advises starting out with something like a 70-200 mm zoom lens.
