Gems of our Washington State Parks: Fort Flagler

Park ranger Mike Zimmerman, the area manager, descends a stairway in the old Army hospital. Restoration of the interior began in 2005 by the Friends of Fort Flagler. Now the first floor — with kitchen, ballroom and more — is rentable for events.
