Drusilla Meyer, left, and Laura McKibbin, both of Kirkland, hug Sylvia the Doug Fir that was once the largest tree in King County until a storm blew away its top in 1993. "On the last stretch of our walks, we always hug Sylvia," Meyer says. The tree is in O.O. Denny Park in Kirkland.
