Solar-panel dispute with China puts Moses Lake jobs at risk

REC Silicon, with 500 workers in Moses Lake, annually produces enough solar-grade polysilicon to power more than 2 million homes. A maze of pipes, chemical tanks and reactors at the Moses Lake plant turns silicon into small granules of polysilicon, the main material in solar panels.
