Tunnel-digger Bertha heading back to work

A conveyor belt designed to carry dirt from the Highway 99 tunnel project stretches into Elliott Bay, where the dirt would be loaded onto barges and shipped to a quarry. Part of the dispute between longshore and building-trades unions is over who will run the conveyor belt.
