Placement of the home, which sits on a point, was vital to the homeowners, who follow the protocol of the San Juan Preservation Trust. The house, 1,360 square feet, was designed by Seattle architect Bob Hull, working in conjunction with project architects Mike Jobes and Kiki Gram. It was built by contractor Shawn Westervelt of Lopez Island.
