Israeli court fines woman for not having son circumcised

Israelis protest in support of a woman who refuses to have her son circumcised, in Tel Aviv on Thursday. The Israeli rabbin-ate’s high court ruled last week that the circumcision was for the child’s welfare and that the woman must pay the equivalent of nearly $150 each day she refuses to allow the procedure.
