Bidding for 777X: N. Charleston dreams of more Boeing jet work

Workers at the 787 plant in North Charleston, S.C., are fabricating and installing airplane systems for the rear-fuselage sections of the Dreamliner. Boeing has plans to expand work there, but the one final-assembly line is struggling to meet a target of three jets a month.
