John Albers’ garden of rooms is designed to thrive, survive

Three Asian-inspired island gardens (“Life,” “Harmony” and “Serenity”) are planted in drought-tolerant sedums, grasses and conifers on the site of the old driveway. A stone lantern and backdrop of Japanese maples add to the effect.
