Windows all around and a ceiling open to the eaves in the great room make the small house feel quite large. The floor is Peruvian olivewood. The wood is used more often on boats, but architect and sailor Peter Brachvogel scored a supply for the home. Poplar cabinets were crafted by Pete’s Cabinets in Everett.
