Unidentified armed men in military uniform patrol near a building at the airport in Simferopol, Crimea, on Friday. A group of armed men seized the airport of Simferopol - the peninsula's capital city - in the early hours. Around 50 of the men arrived in three trucks without license plates, surrounding the domestic-flights terminal before moving on to other parts of the airport, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported.
