Rare redwood faces chopping block in California

Prue Draper, left, of the Cotati Historical Society, and Louise Santero, a longtime Cotati resident, stand next to an extremely rare albino chimero redwood tree near a railroad track in Cotati, Calif. It's a tree so rare that there are believed to be fewer than 10 of its kind in the world, and it could be chopped down to make way for commuter trains in Northern California.
