Reclamation work on the east side of the Lower Duwamish Waterway, on Boeing property, includes planting willows, big leaf maples and more than 170,000 native plants along the water’s edge. The area was the site of Boeing’s now-demolished Plant 2. The company is assisting the EPA in cleanup and habitat restoration, spending more than $100 million.
