GE 777X engine flying through wind-tunnel tests

Dan Schmidt, a Boeing model designer, in background, and Bryan Deatherage, a Boeing model maker, do final preparations before a one-sixth scale version of a GE9X engine is tested in Boeing's wind tunnel in Seattle. The full-size engine, the largest built for a commercial jet, will power the 777X.
