Death of Michigan referee raises medical questions

Bassel Abdul Saad, left, sits with his attorney Ali Hammoud, during his arraignment before Judge Kathleen McCann in Livonia, Mich., on Thursday. Saad is accused of killing John Bieniewicz, a referee, with a punch to the neck. Bieniewicz died last week from injuries sustained June 29. Police and prosecutors said Saad struck Bieniewicz as the 44-year-old referee announced his decision to eject him from a soccer game.
