How officials handled final fumble leaves Seahawks grasping for answers

Seattle’s Earl Thomas (29) and Malcolm Smith put big hits on St. Louis running back Tre Mason that resulted in a fumble. But after the ball bounced in and out of numerous players’ hands, it was ruled to be in possession of the Rams and the Seahawks’ final hopes were dashed.
