Denver beats Maryland for NCAA men’s lacrosse title

Denver won its first NCAA men’s lacrosse championship, beating Maryland 10-5 behind five goals from senior Wesley Berg before a crowd of 24,215 in Philadelphia. Denver is the first men’s champion from outside the Eastern time zone.
