Former University of Houston basketball coach Guy V. Lewis dies at 93

Guy V. Lewis, a former University of Houston men’s basketball coach, died at a retirement facility in Kyle, Texas. He was 93. The Hall of Famer coached the Cougars from 1956 to 1986; he had a 592-279 record and five NCAA Final Four appearances.
