Bellevue Goodwill holds designer sale
Posted by Katherine Long
Fashionistas, take note: The Bellevue Goodwill store, which tends to get an unusually large number of high-end items from well-to-do Eastsiders, has collected some of its best stuff together for a two-day designer clothing sale.
Purses by Coach, Gucci and Kate Spade. Shoes by Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo. Jeans by Seven for all Mankind and True Religion. For men, suits by Armani and Versaci Versace. It's almost like a shopping trip to the Bravern, on a JCPenney budget.
"They've got a ton of great stuff," said Goodwill spokesman David Sandler. "People in Bellevue are pretty generous in their donations."
The store has assembled more than 4,500 items for its first-ever designer label event. Doors open at 9 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday, and the store will be open until 9:30 p.m. on both days.
The Goodwill staff plans to restock the shelves with more designer clothes throughout the sale, so you don't have to be there first thing in the morning for the good stuff.
The store is at 14515 N.E. 20th Street. We're planning to stop by Friday morning to take a look and snap some pictures -- we'll let you know what we find.
