Posted by Nicole Tsong

A 24-year-old man leaped to his death inside Lincoln Square in downtown Bellevue early Thursday morning, Bellevue police said.

Around 8 a.m., police responded to reports that a man was sitting on the fourth floor railing inside the atrium at Lincoln Square at Northeast 7th Street and Bellevue Way Northeast. Officers arrived and saw a man sitting on the railing above Earls Restaurant. Officers spoke with him, but he jumped to his death, police said.

Police do not know if he was a Bellevue resident, but the death will be investigated, police said.
