Recipe: Barbecued rattlesnake
1 rattlesnake, 4 feet or longer, freshly skinned, head removed
1. Cut snake into four 6-inch sections.
2. Marinate the snake in barbecue sauce for several hours.
3. Wrap sections in foil and barbecue over charcoal for 45 minutes.
4. To keep meat from drying out, baste with barbecue sauce every 10 minutes.
