The Office of Employment and Training released figures Thursday showing unemployment rates improved in November in 114 counties and worsened in six.

Woodford County reported the lowest jobless rate at 6.3 percent, followed by Ohio County at 6.6 percent and Fayette County at 6.7 percent. Caldwell and Daviess counties each reported a 7 percent unemployment rate for the month.

Jackson County's 15.1 percent unemployment rate was the highest in the state. Fulton and Magoffin counties were next at 14.2 percent and 14 percent respectively. McCreary and Meade counties were both above 13 percent.
