OIL REBOUNDS: Crude oil recovered, rising $1.56 to settle at $79.76 per barrel following a two-day plunge. Oil rose after European leaders pledged economic stimulus measures, which might help demand for energy recover.

NATURAL GAS: Natural gas futures rose 4.3 cents to $2.6250 per 1,000 cubic feet.
