Kristi Heim heads Washington-China trade association | On the Move

Kristi Heim was appointed executive director of the Washington State China Relations Council in Seattle, a private, nonprofit trade association.

Heim previously worked for the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington where she was assistant director of the Confucius Institute and led other programs and initiatives related to China.

Heim is founder and president of, and is a former business reporter at The Seattle Times and the Asian Wall Street Journal.

Banking: Sam Henry was named vice president and senior relationship manager at The Bank of Washington, Lynnwood.

Consulting engineering: Zenzile Brooks joined The Glosten Associates in Seattle as assistant marketing director.

D irectories: Rob Eleveld was named vice president of enterprise sales, WhitePages PRO, Seattle.

Forest products: Rhonda Hunter was named senior vice president, Timberlands, at Weyerhaeuser, Federal Way.

Health care: Jim Havens was named president and CEO of LifeWise Health Plan of Washington, Mountlake Terrace.

Law: Charles Hagadorn joined Seed IP Law Group in Seattle as an associate. Caitlin Bellum joined Helsell Fetterman, Seattle.

Manufacturing: Joe Harper was appointed sales territory manager for Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana at Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Redmond.

Music: Pete Moran was hired as vice president of global sponsorships, Brad David as vice president of channel development, Zach Varnell as vice president of audio engineering and production, Dan Horton as senior vice president of product and technical operations and Joshua Batchelder as vice president of video production at Lively, Seattle.

Public television: Tom Cohen was hired as vice president of content at KCTS 9, Seattle.

Salary data: Mark Klebanoff was appointed chief financial officer at PayScale, Seattle.
