Woodinville-based wine company Ste. Michelle Wine Estates has bought a 119-acre Oregon vineyard in order to feed its Erath Winery.
The move to acquire Willakia Vineyard in the North Willamette Valley for an unspecified amount shows Ste. Michelle’s commitment to boost its Erath brand, the company’s chief executive Ted Baseler said in a statement. The vineyard dedicates 98 acres to the production of pinot noir grapes and 21 acres to chardonnay.
