Roaste.com sale on Espresso Vivace packaged coffee
Posted by Melissa Allison
Roaste.com has a special on Espresso Vivace's Dolce espresso blend. It's $13.50 a pound through Thursday. Those beans normally cost $15 a pound at Roaste, which says it's raising the price to $16 after Thursday. Roaste sends the order to Vivace, and the coffee ships from Seattle.
Vivace sells that blend for $13.50 a pound at its Capitol Hill and South Lake Union locations, and $13 a pound online (in half-pound packages). Vivace charges for regular USPS service; Roaste ships free for orders above $25.
Check out the comments on Dolce at Roaste, including people saying they have trouble dialing it in. That's why Vivace owner David Schomer is so particular about the commercial customers he works with. They need to do everything right -- grind, water temperature, dosing -- to get the sweetness Vivace is known for.
