Calvin Olds

Roosevelt wrestling

Olds, a junior, came into the KingCo 4A subregional seeded fourth at 125 pounds. But he won the title with three pins, and a technical fall over the No. 1 seed in the semifinals.

Melissa Gilkey

Woodinville girls basketball

Gilkey, a senior, had two big games. She put together 57 points, 32 rebounds, nine assists and four blocks and is now the school's all-time leading rebounder.

Tahoma wrestling team

The Bears, coached by Chris Feist, rolled to the South Puget Sound League 4A North subregional championship, amassing 394 points. An impressive 15 wrestlers finished in the top four to advance to regionals.
