The good: The defense played one of its better games, though UCLA is one of the worst offensive teams in the conference. Still, some aggressive play forced three turnovers, a season-best for UW.

The bad: The offense was held below 200 yards for the third time in four games and running game was held under 100 for the fourth straight game. Worse, the passing attack managed just 39 yards, fewest since 1984.

Next up: at Washington State, Saturday, noon.
