Rewind: Chat with former UW linebacker Peter Tormey

Peter Tormey was a three-year letterman (1977-79) for the Huskies at linebacker and played on the 1978 Rose Bowl champion team that upset Michigan 27-20.

He currently is an associate director of university and public relations at Gonzaga University.

His new book, "The Thursday Speeches: Lessons in Life, Leadership, and Football from Coach Don James," chronicles James' 18 seasons at UW through the scope of the coach's weekly addresses to the team.

Tormey will be available to answer questions about his playing days at UW, his book about James' speeches and more in a live chat at noon Tuesday on seattletimes.com.
