Washington’s Allison Northey will end her collegiate gymnastics career Friday by making her first appearance at the NCAA championships in Fort Worth, Texas. Northey will compete as an all-arounder in Friday’s first session, beginning at 11 a.m. PT.

Northey, a three-time All-Pac-12 honoree in the all-around, qualified for the NCAA championships by finishing amongthe top-two all-around gymnasts whose teams didn’t qualify at the NCAA regional meet in Salt Lake City on April 2. She took fourth overall.

Notes

• WSU’s Liz Harper took seventh at the California Invitational Heptathlon at Azusa Pacific. Harper scored 5,472 points.

• At the Whitworth Twilight meet in Spokane, Brock Eager, competing unattached, threw a PR of 203-0 to win the hammer, followed by Wyatt Meyring (185-10).
