What do you suppose Starbucks employees do on their coffee breaks? Drink more coffee? Wrong!

Just to make the rest of us feel bad about our jobs, probably, Seattle-based nail salon butter LONDON will open a location on the third floor of Starbucks headquarters later this fall. How very Google of them! The nail chain approached Starbucks after learning that the company offers in-house barber services.

"You know when you feel kind of crappy and you're having an off day, and you need to get away from your desk for five minutes?" said butter LONDON's Nonie Creme. "Imagine if you could walk down the hall and have a mani. It's a nice little coffee break, so to speak."

The corporate move is butter LONDON's next step after infiltrating Sea-Tac airport. It's almost like they are planning to take over the world, kind of like ... Starbucks! Weird. ...

THE DISCO PIG HAS A BACKSTORY: It's a little-known fact that the popular Disco Pig in downtown Seattle is a tribute to famed Studio 54 owner Steve Rubell. Turns out Kirkland artist Rebecca DeVere used to work for the nightlife impresario in New York. "Steve was always so nice to me. Once you were part of his family, he was the nicest guy," DeVere said. "When I was making the pig, I thought of him a lot, just because he's the king of disco. That's what I think he'll always be remembered for." Either that, or tax evasion. But how would you make a pig out of that? ...

THAT'S CRAZYBERRY!: New Capitol Hill hotspot Kurrent boasts a 50-foot long strip of ice running the entire length of the bar — the longest ice bar on the West Coast. Bartenders serve drinks in metal stemware to keep drinks properly chilled. And it works: "One of the owners ordered a martini and an ice cube fell in it. Then he got a phone call," said bar manager James MacWilliams. "Twenty minutes later, the ice cube was still there. We were kind of shocked." He went on to say, "Then Bianca Jagger rode in on a white horse, and I just about fell out of my chair!" OK, I made up that last part. R.I.P., Studio 54! ...

SEATTLE SOUNDERS BREAKING NEWS: Star forward Roger Levesque reportedly had his teeth power-bleached by Dr. Kate McKinney of Kirkland this week in advance of the Sounders' big playoff game on Friday. It's unclear whether the two events are related, but could be that pearly whites are part of Roger's "game face." ...

SANJAYA HOUSE UPDATE: It's not sold yet. ...

DAVE MATTHEWS ON SEATTLE: "I like it here. It's an open-minded city and I feel like-minded. Lots of bumper stickers, and they don't say, 'My kid is an honor student at Wienerschnitzel High.' They're like, "If fascism comes to America, it will come wrapped in a flag, holding the cross." — in Rolling Stone magazine ...

CELEBRITY SIGHTINGS ROUNDUP: Fergie and boyfriend Josh Duhamel having a late lunch on the patio at Elliott's Oyster House ... Chris Daughtry wearing shades and a backward baseball cap outside Hotel Monaco ... Nicole Richie baby daddy Joel Madden and his brother Benji signing autographs at a Verizon Wireless store in Federal Way ... Former Husky Spencer Hawes and Seattle Sonic Kevin Durant eating steaks and drinking tons of pineapple juice at the Met ... Actor Edward Herrmann ("Gilmore Girls") at Kirkland Concours d'Elegance classic car show ... Seattle nightlife queen Linda Derschang at her newest bar Smith, looking a little teary-eyed about sending her daughter off to college at Sarah Lawrence. Celebrity moms: They're just like us.
