They're on Panty Watch at the 5th Avenue Theatre, the latest stop for the touring "Jersey Boys" — who reportedly have achieved such rock-star status that women in other cities have actually thrown undergarments at them. We're thinking that's not going to happen here, but will keep you posted. (Fingers crossed!) The "Jersey Boys" almost didn't make it to town in time for their first Seattle show due to weather. Half the cast chose to drive rather then fly from their last engagement in San Francisco — and wound up killing time in Longview while waiting for I-5 to reopen near Chehalis. Cast member Erik Bates, who grew up in Longview, used the down time to have dinner with his grandma. ...

SUPER SECRET SANTA: Rumor has it city transportation and Vulcan employees have been buying "Ride the S.L.U.T." T-shirts for the holidays, kind of stealthlike, at Kapow Coffee. They're nice and all, but we're holding out for one that says, "I Rode The SLUT, and All I Got Was This Stupid T-Shirt." ...

IF YOU CAN'T BEAT 'EM: Seattle law firm Dionne & Rorick — go ahead, say it out loud — is apparently so often referred to as the name of everyone's favorite psychic friend that they've been known to give out Dionne Warwick CDs at the company holiday party. Who says lawyers don't have a sense of humor? ...

FREMONT SHOE STORE Lambs Ear had a brush with supermodel fame, albeit once removed, when a customer purchased a pair of Midnight Sparkle Hunter Wellies (size 9) and had them sent to Linda Evangelista in New York City. The new-ish boutique is currently the only store carrying the limited-edition rainboot, which was news to owner Angie Sorensen: "I guess they picked me because they were the only pair I fell in love with, and ordered tons without knowing this 'special edition' stuff. The whole thing is pretty funny ... I'm just happy to sell a pair to whomever!" ...

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP GOSPEL SINGER: Tacoma native Crystal Aikin returned to work at St. Joseph Medical Center this week after winning the reality singing competition "Sunday Best" on BET Networks. The emergency-room nurse is readjusting to life after Hollywood: "My mom says, 'You can't be in your scrubs anymore and go to the store. It's going to be lights, camera, action for you all the time.' " Crystal says she may eventually relocate to Los Angeles, but next time she'll probably have to pay her own way — she used her mom's frequent-flier miles to get to the audition and paid a mere $2.50. ...

CELEBRITY SIGHTINGS, ETC.: Shaun Alexander in a Santa hat, ringing the bell for the Salvation Army red kettle at the corner of Sixth and Pine ... Sir Mix-A-Lot shopping for a new car at the Lamborghini Club holiday party at Lamborghini Bellevue ... Bill Gates passing through the Alexis Hotel ... Arizona Cardinals QB Matt Leinart dining with his family at Morton's The Steakhouse downtown ... An anonymous guest at Detlef and Mari Schrempf's holiday party buying all the Toys R Us giftcards to donate to flood victims in Centralia and Chehalis ... Leigh Canlis telling people at the O'Christmas Trees Gala that her white strapless party dress was Vera Wang, when it was really BCBG (but confessing five seconds later) ... Seattle "Project Runway" star Jack Mackenroth dating "Top Chef's" Dale Levitski, if you believe the tabloids. I always believe the tabloids.
