Street changes are planned for South Lake Union to prepare for the new Seattle Streetcar.

Beginning Sunday, Terry Avenue North will become one-way northbound between Thomas and Mercer Streets to allow the streetcar to share space with other traffic on Terry. The street will remain two-way from Thomas Street to Denny Way.

In addition, parking will be removed within two weeks on the south side of Harrison Street between Terry and Fairview Avenues North.

The streetcar is scheduled to begin operating by the end of the year.
