"Not a Good Guy" by Nacho Picasso

Welcome to the United Colors of Nacho Picasso: "black heart, red eyes and I'm light skinned."

The Seattle rapper reps Beacon Hill's Cloud Nice collective, and his debut album "Blunt Raps" is freely downloadable.

For twelve tracks on "Blunt Raps," Nacho advances a dark, loopy persona over production by a total unknown with no online presence, a guy called Raised by Wolves. Nacho's focused flow and punchline savvy indicate he's been rapping for a long time, but with a generally low profile and only a few performances around town that I know of, this self-professed "bad ass yellow boy" seems like he just came out of nowhere with a fully formed style.

But of course, ex nihilo nihil fit, and if you listen closely, Nacho tells an origin story in "Blunt Raps" with "On Again" (feat. Young TH) and the ice cold "Not A Good Guy": his mom is a Rasta, and his dad is Zeus.
