Enumclaw's Justin Grennan is on NBC's "The Voice" UPDATE: and so is Tacoma's Vicci Martinez

Enumclaw native (according to his Facebook page) Justin Grennan is on NBC's "The Voice," a competitive singing TV show similar to "American Idol." The soul singer, cribbage player and avid outdoorsman has made it through the early rounds, which are judged blindly, based solely on the sound of the contestant's voice.
Grennan was chosen to advance by pop star judge Christina Aguilera, putting him on "Team Christina." Also judging "The Voice" are music stars Cee-Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Each judge has picked eight singers for their particular team, which they will then coach, and pit against each other in individual song-battles. Those battle rounds will be judged by the judges. Then the remaining contestants will advance to a round of live stage shows, which will be voted on by the television audience, but with final decisions still made by the judges. The winner will get $100,000 and a recording contract. Carson Daly hosts "The Voice," in a parallel role to Ryan Seacrest's on "American Idol."
Grennan has been blogging about his experience on the show at his page on nbc.com/the-voice.
UPDATE: Tacoma's Vicci Martinez is also on the show. See her blog posts here, and an image below from nbc.com/the-voice.
