Listen to Beacon Hill future-funk from 'Kingdom Crumbs'

Warning: swearing

"Pick Both Sides of My Brain" by Kingdom Crumbs (download here)

What started as a solo project a few years back from Beacon Hill producer/rapper/singer Tay Sean has grown into a futuristic-sounding group effort involving his Cloud Nice crew. Kingdom Crumbs is Tay Sean and Jerm — aka Helladope, a group you might already know — with Mikey Nice and Jarv Dee. "Kingdom Crumbs" is also the name of their debut album, which should be out soon. The crew came through KEXP's "Street Sounds" the other night and premiered the dark, funky single "Pick Both Sides of My Brain." Listen to it above.
