Tolling system coming on Highway 520 bridge

Tolling system coming on Highway 520 bridge

Some really ‘hot’ lanes

could spice up commute

With the continuing unexpected delays implementing the tolling system on the 520 bridge, I say there’s still time to implement my revenue-generating idea: Bikini Toll Booths.

With the state government firmly entrenched in both gambling and liquor sales, this pay-to-play “sin tax” would not be a huge leap during these tough economic times for our cash-strapped state.

Plus, the King County Sheriff”s Office has done a number of undercover investigations of these businesses (was that a short-straw assignment, boys?) yet have found no ticketable offenses, even when pasties were being waggled in their faces.

I say it’s time to give the term “Hot Lanes” a whole new meaning and bring back the tollbooths of my youth — we’ll have that new bridge paid off in no time!
