Shopping for Quatchi

Posted by Stephanie Clary

I don't fall into the category of people who believe in Sasquatch, but I do think Quatchi — the Olympic mascot inspired by the creature — is rather adorable.

Maybe it's because it's a nod to a Pacific Northwest mystery, or maybe it's his earmuffs and reported dreams of becoming a goalie, but I feel compelled to buy a Quatchi souvenir.

An online search led me to some interesting finds, including slippers, a sterling silver charm and a $40 towel.

While all are worthy keepsakes, an seller wins my vote for best Quatchi gear:

It's featured in The Head Said's shop, and for $22.50 you get a beanie, earmuffs and Quatchi's face — all in one piece! This thing needs an infomercial.
