Theo Chocolate was named after the Theobroma cacao tree. If you want to know more about the company that makes organic-chocolate products, the Chocolate Factory Tour is for you. You'll learn about the cacao tree, where it comes from, where it's harvested and how the beans are made into chocolate.

Of course, there will be lots of "generous samples," says Debra Music, vice president of sales and marketing. She says tour participants will "learn so much about the beloved indulgence" and will be more in awe of it and more aware of the social and environmental issues surrounding it.

Tours are 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. weekdays and weekends, with an additional tour at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Theo Chocolate, 3400 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle; $5, reservations required (206-632-5100 or www.theochocolate.com).
