Winthrop celebrates 'Christmas at the End of the Road'

Head for Winthrop in the Methow Valley the weekend after Thanksgiving for the town's "Christmas at the End of the Road" celebration. Featured activities include free horse-drawn hayrides, decorating the town's Christmas tree, visits with Santa, and a lighting ceremony with carolers, followed by fireworks.
