Get in free for three days to Washington’s state parks and to national parks and national forests across the nation in observance of Veterans Day.

To honor America’s veterans, admission fees will be dropped for all park and forest visitors Saturday through Monday, Nov. 9-11.

In Washington, that means the usual $15-per-vehicle entrance fee will be waived at Mount Rainier and Olympic national parks, along with the $3/person fee at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Discover Passes will not be required at state parks, and the Northwest Forest Pass will not be required at trailheads and other facilities in the region’s national forests.

Other participating federal agencies include the Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation.
