Gubernatorial debate: First of the season

The first gubernatorial debate of Election 2012 airs live on TVW Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in a match-up hosted by the Association of Washington Business.

You will remember, perhaps, that this debate was iffy for a while back when Democrat Jay Inslee was not so sure he wanted to participate.

But that's all in the past.

AWB's debate has become a tradition. Inslee and Republican Rob McKenna will both participate in the Spokane face-to-face contest. .Austin Jenkins of the Northwest News Network will moderate.

The gubernatorial debate will be shown live on TVW, streamed live on TVW's website and broadcast on public radio stations throughout Washington and Oregon.
