The Bravern mixed-use development in downtown Bellevue has announced several new retail tenants, all based in the Northwest.

Eye Society, an eyewear store, will move its Bellevue location into about 1,000 square feet next to Neiman Marcus, while Silberman/Brown, a stationery store, will move its Bellevue location into about 1,000 square feet next to Eye Society.

Also, Dilettante Mocha Café will move its downtown Bellevue location to 2,400 square feet off 110th Avenue near the entrance to the Bravern's arrival court.

As previously announced, Seattle-based kitchen-products retailer Sur La Table will open a 5,000-square-foot store at the Bravern. Sur La Table will keep its stores in downtown Seattle and Kirkland.

The Bravern is scheduled to open 305,000 square feet of shopping and dining space in September 2009. Other announced tenants include restaurants Wild Ginger and John Howie Steak and high-end retailers Jimmy Choo, Hermes, Bottega Veneta and Louis Vuitton.

Tom Woodworth, senior investment director for developer Schnitzer West, said locally and regionally based merchants will make up more than 20 percent of the Bravern's shops and restaurants.
