Gucci.com is among the Fashion 2.0 Awards nominees for Best Website.
The awards look at fashion brands who "embraced online technology and social media in the past year." Categories include best videos, Twitter accounts, Facebook pages, apps, brand blogs, websites and even up-and-coming technology.
Voting began on Feb. 1 and is open through Feb. 15. You can view all the nominees and vote here (note that you have to login via Facebook).
Winners are announced Feb. 16 (during New York Fashion Week) and will be live streamed here and tweeted with the hashtag #fashion20.
Within the past couple of years, fashion designers and companies have increasingly embraced online video as a way to show off new styles beyond the runway. And fashion websites tend to combine high-quality user experience with beautiful, technology-forward design. Recognizing this industry for online innovation seems more than appropriate and also offers an opportunity to revisit some of the year's highlights.
