Seahawks two-minute drill
Players of the game
Bills KR Roscoe Parrish: Needed less than a half to set the Bills' record for punt-return yardage. He returned six punts for 120 yards, and his 63-yard return for a touchdown was the most exciting play of the game.
Bills WR Lee Evans: Caught four passes for 102 yards, and had two receptions of more than 30 yards. Both of those catches came behind Kelly Jennings.
Seahawks P Ryan Plackemeier: He was one of Buffalo's best assets in the first half, which was troubling because he's a Seahawk. Plackemeier punted three times in the second quarter. Two of those punts traveled 22 yards, and the third was returned 63 yards for a touchdown by Parrish.
Play of the game
Parrish's 63-yard return, including a 360-degree spin at the Seattle 30 to evade John Carlson, who tackled about like you'd expect a tight end to tackle.
Seattle appeared poised to cut into Buffalo's 20-7 lead on the first drive of the third quarter after Maurice Morris' 13-yard gain gave the Seahawks a first down at the Bills' 30. But a Matt Hasselbeck sack for a loss of seven, consecutive false-start penalties and a 4-yard loss by Julius Jones left Seattle facing third-and-31.
• Seattle had only one sack in the first half. That was by Patrick Kerney and it came only because Trent Edwards held the ball too long. Bills tackles Langston Walker and Kirk Chambers did a good job in protection.
• Seneca Wallace returned one punt and fair-caught another after Nate Burleson left the game with an injury in the third quarter. Wallace was tackled for no gain on the return. Years of speculation about Wallace's potential impact on special teams resulted in a zero.
• Seattle gave up three completions of more than 30 yards against the Bills, whose offense ranked 30th in the league in passing yards last season.
