Chat rewind: Former Seahawks wide receiver & Hall of Famer Steve Largent

Steve Largent played 14 seasons in the NFL for the Seahawks and became one of the greatest receivers in NFL history.

When he retired in 1989, he held every major NFL receiving record, including most career receptions (819), most receiving yards (13,089) and most touchdown catches (100).

Largent was the first player to enter the Seahawks' Ring of Honor and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995.

After serving as a U.S. congressman from 1994-2002, he was president and CEO of CTIA-The Wireless Association, an international nonprofit membership organization that represents the wireless communications industry, from 2003-14.

Largent answered questions about his remarkable playing career, the Seahawks' super matchup against the Patriots and more in a live chat on Jan. 22.
