(Exhaustive) injury update

Posted by Danny O'Neil

  • LB Aaron Curry sat out Wednesday's practice, the first workout he's missed since signing. "Just a slight groin strain," coach Jim Mora said. "His camp legs -- a lot of guys are getting their legs back, and his are going a little bit. At this point, I would say he's going to be fine for the game unless something pops up."

  • K Olindo Mare kicked again in practice on Wednesday. He had been out going back to Saturday's exhibition game because of soreness in his knee.

  • WR Nate Burleson has sat out the past three practices, but Mora said that's just to allow his hamstring to get back to 100 percent. "It's just lingering," Mora said. "Rather than have it continue to linger, we're going to give him some time to completely heal."

  • RB Julius Jones is rehabbing with tights on his right leg, and he should be close to returning. RB T.J. Duckett suffered a concussion. He returned to part of the practice Wednesday and should be back Thursday.

  • Other absences from practice: Lawrence Jackson (groin).
